Gulf South Conference West Pitcher of the WeekGilliland claims his first career accolade after tossing a gem Sunday against visiting Harding. The junior from Midland, Texas threw a four-hit shutout in the Reddies' 6-0 victory while fanning a career-high eight batters. Gilliland was part of an HSU staff that limited the Bisons to just nine hits in three games and the Reddies became the first team in over 16 years to record three shutouts in a GSC series.
