Mariners left-hander Cliff Lee was placed on the 15-day disabled list on Sunday morning, but he was feeling good later after playing a vigorous game of catch at AT&T Park."I feel as good as I can feel," he said. "I pushed it today, threw all of my pitches, threw them hard and didn't feel anything."
Lee has been sidelined since March 15 with a strained lower abdominal muscle and although he still can't predict when he'll be able to make his first regular-season start, it could be closer than it appeared even a week ago.
He will throw one or two more times and graduate to his first bullpen session since March 18, when the pain in his side resulted from a collision with the Diamondbacks' Chris Snyder while backing up home plate.
