Arkansas Tech outfielder Colt Loehrs (SR, 6-2, 201, Arkansas City, KS) is the Gulf South Conference West Division Player of the Weekfor the week ending February 20th.
Loehrs posted his first-ever honor after hitting safely in all seven of ATU’s contests last week, leading the Wonder Boys to a 4-3 mark. The senior also posted multiple hits in six contests, finishing with a .483 average and a .966 slugging percentage. Loehrs pounded out eight RBI, three doubles and three homers while scoring 12 runs. The Arkansas City, KS native capped the week in dramatic fashion slamming a two-out, two-run walk off homerun to secure a 10-9 home win over then No. 13 Southern Indiana.
