Head Baseball Coach Derrion Hardie announced that Ecclesia
College Baseball has accepted an invitation to join the newly formed
Victory Collegiate Baseball Conference (VCBC) that will begin play in
2017.
Coach Hardie has trail blazed Ecclesia College Royals
Baseball in the first three years of the program's history to three
consecutive winning seasons and post-season appearances. Hardie was
hired to lead the development of the baseball program, which played its
inaugural season in 2013.
The VCBC consists of colleges in Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma
and Kansas. Members of the VCBC at this time are Ecclesia College,
Dallas Christian College, Arlington Baptist College, Hillsdale Baptist
College and Manhattan Christian College. The VCBC could grow to as many
as ten teams, as five other colleges have expressed interest in joining
the newly formed collegiate baseball conference.
