Germaine tabbed as Great American Conference Player of the Week


Southern Arkansas Baseball's Billy Germaine has been named the Great American Conference's Player of the Week for his high-powered offensive output this past weekend as announced by league officials on Monday afternoon in Russellville, Arkansas.

Germaine had a monstrous weekend at the plate as he hit .727 (8-for-11) in a 2-1 series win over East Central. Of his eight base hits, seven went for extra bases as he collected three doubles and belted four home runs. The senior from Aldergrove, British Columbia, tallied a dozen RBI, seven runs scored, and a pair of walks, while boasting a .733 on-base percentage and a ridiculous 2.091 slugging percentage.
