UAFS first basemanJosh Vanderpool has been named the Heartland Conference Hitter of the Week for his performance this past weekend in the three-game series against the Oklahoma Christian Eagles.
The Gravette, Ark., native batted 0.556 with two home runs – his sixth and seventh of the season – and five RBIs. He compiled a 1.222 slugging percentage with a 0.667 on-base percentage and a perfect fielding percentage.
