Faulkner, sophomore from Memphis, Tenn., started all four games last week at designated hitter or centerfield and went 11-17 from the plate. He hit four doubles to lead the Red Wolves on the week with a .647 batting average.
Faulkner posted seven RBI and six runs scored while going 3-3 on stolen base attempts adding a .882 slugging percentage while striking out once. He was perfect from the field in five attempts. Faulkner was 3-5 in both the Lyon's game and the first Louisiana-Lafayette game while going 4-4 with three RBI and three runs scored in the second Louisiana-Lafayette game. This past week's games marked the first action for the sophomore in three-plus weeks.
