Johnson finished third in this year’s Tino Martinez Award voting after being named a First-Team Rawlings/ABCA All-America and a Second-Team Daktronics and NCBWA All-America selection and also was named the 2011 GSC West Division Player of the Year and two-time unanimous All-GSC West Division selection. He leads all of NCAA Division II in hits (99), runs scored (79) and scoring (1.55 runs per game) and is fourth in batting average (.454), sixth in total bases (156), seventh in doubles (22) and 11th in stolen bases (37). In addition, he led the GSC in slugging percentage (.716), was second in the league in on-base percentage (.506), was ninth in the league in RBIs (50) and tied for fourth in the league in triples with four.
