Chase Ware named Sun Belt Pitcher of the Week

From the mound, Arkansas State junior Chase Ware held Florida Atlantic to just one run in eight innings of work in Friday night's 8-2 ASU victory over the Owls. Ware struck out seven batters while giving up seven hits - six of which were singles - and walked two. He posted an ERA of 1.12 in the game and threw 128 pitches on the night to get the win.
