Hendrix plays a full slate of competition that includes several teams who finished the 2008 campaign ranked amongst the best in the country. The Warriors head to Southern California to face NCAA Division III powerhouse Chapman University on March 8. Chapman finished 4th in the 2008 Division III World Series in Appleton Wisconsin and enter the 2009 season ranked 2nd in the Collegiate Baseball preseason poll.
The 2009 Schedule also includes Division II opponents that range from, DII World Series runner-up Ouachita Baptist and in-state foe Harding University.
The 40-game slate (22 home, 18 away) features American Southwest Conference (ASC) opponents such as the University of the Ozarks and #13 University of Texas at Tyler.
