Sims notches his first career honor after giving the Wonder Boys a great outing Sunday against Bemidji State (Minn.) in the Heffington Optical Festival Tournament in Springfield, Mo. The sophomore from Scott, Ark. tossed seven and one-third innings while scattering eight hits, one run and a walk. The southpaw fanned five Beavers, allowing ATU to claim an 8-6 victory in 11 innings.
