Southern Arkansas atop First NCAA South Region Poll

Southern Arkansas debuts as the top-ranked team in the first edition of the NCAA South Region baseball poll released Wednesday. Rankings in the poll are based on games played through this past Sunday.

As a result of Division II regional reorganization, the Muleriders, formerly of the South Central region, now participate in the South region along with other Gulf South Conference members, and both the Sunshine State and Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference members.
