CLASS 3A BASEBALL
Elks tame Colts
Rivercrest had no answer for Elkins pitcher Steven Whitney on Saturday afternoon. Whitney struck out seven and allowed only one run as the Elks won 4-1 over the Colts. Whitney held Rivercrest hitless for the first four innings, and the Colts finished with only five hits, all singles.

CLASS 4A BASEBALL
Lynch throws no-hitter
Pitcher Cade Lynch didn't allow a hit Saturday as Valley View defeated Shiloh Christian 5-0 to capture its second consecutive state championship. Lynch struck out 11 and gave up only 2 walks while throwing 95 pitches in the victory.

CLASS 5A BASEBALL
CAC tops Harrison
Pitcher Bryce Biggerstaff went the distance and came through with three RBI as Central Arkansas Christian defeated defending state champion Harrison 6-2 to earn its sixth state championship.
