Before the city of Little Rock tears down Ray Winder Field later this year to make way for expansion of the UAMS campus, fans of the historic ballpark will get a chance to walk away with a few souvenirs… for free! City Manager Bruce Moore says the plan is to open the ballpark for several days later this month and let fans take whatever they want as a way of saying thanks for years of support for the Arkansas Travelers, who played at the midtown ballpark before moving to North Little Rock’s Dickey-Stephens Park in 2007.
