Kasey Cooper named Heartland Player of the Week

Hitter of the Week:
Kasey Cooper, UA Fort Smith
OF, JR, Pea Ridge, Ark.
Cooper went 3-for-3 with one triple and two RBI to lead the Lions to an 8-4 win against the Lubbock Christian Chaps. Cooper compiled a 1.667 slugging percentage. It was the only game played in the three-game series. The final two games were cancelled because of snow and ice.
