JT Stalnaker, a junior catcher from Tallahassee, Florida, ignited his team to a 3-1 series win over NAIA Cornerstone University, improving the Royals’ season record to 11-4. Stalnaker hit .538 with 3 home runs, 5 RBI, and a walk off drag bunt in extra innings of game 4 to score the winning run and secure the series win for the Royals. Defensively, Stalnaker had no errors, no passed balls, and threw out 75% of would-be base stealers.
