Southern Arkansas (47-10) defeated Tampa to force a second game at the NCAA South Regional, but after playing six games as opposed to the Spartans' four, the Muleriders ran out of pitching as were steamrolled in the finale 20-3. Starter Hayden Simpson (1.81, 13-1) is a finalist for the Tino Martinez Award and a favorite to win.
